Domestic Medium Hair - Black and white - Gus - Medium - Adult
Gus was rescued from a trailer in Lake Placid along with 24 other cats and kittens. Her owners assumed she was a male, and named her Gus. We didn't change her name because she seems to know it pretty well, and found it hard to find a name that sounded like it. At first, poor Gus was pretty scared and didn't want us to pet her. Now she has adjusted to the shelter environment, and she has become much friendlier. She doesn't mind other cats, and has lived with dogs and a young child. However, she might be intimidated by too much activity, so she would be happiest in a quiet home with older kids and mellow dogs. We believe she is ~2-3 years old. If you are looking for a quiet, mellow type cat to be your companion or a friend for your current cat, Gus would be a good choice. She is spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped and ready for a new forever home!
