Domestic Short Hair - Black and white - Tyler - Medium - Adult
Tyler is our cute little office cat that would love to go home with someone special. He was found living outdoors and was semi-feral when he was brought into our shelter at ~1 year old in March of 2013. He had probably never been indoors or around people much, but he started to come out of his shell once he realized there were a lot of other cats at the shelter to hang out with. He especially likes to babysit any kittens we may have in the shelter, and he loves to play and cuddle with other cats. Tyler has become very friendly and affectionate with volunteers and staff members, and almost demands that you pay attention to him by poking your hand to pet him or head butting us as we do paperwork. We allowed him to become our free roaming office cat to help him get used to everything, and now he acts like he never had a worry in the world! He has also become used to mellow dogs that have been in the office with him, but he will run and hide if a dog is too pushy for his taste. Due to being a bit timid, we want to place him in a home without children under the age of 5years. We want our sweet little Tyler to find a loving and patient home, preferably with another cat or two to keep him company and teach him all about his new life. An approved adoption application is required to adopt an animal from our Humane Society. Our application form is available on our main website, or by contacting our office to have a copy emailed or sent in the mail. You may submit your completed forms to our office by bringing it with you when you plan to visit, or by emailing or mailing it back. Applications may also be completed at our shelter's office.
