Swanson is a fun loving, adventure seeking little guy that is 1 year old. He gets along well with other cats, and enjoys running around chasing toys, bugs and exploring. He still acts a lot like a kitten with his playful behavior and energy level. He does settle down after a while of playing, and enjoys lounging on comfy cat beds and chairs here at the shelter. Swanson is not a big fan of dogs, but he has become adjusted to being around our very mellow office dog. He would do okay in a home with a laid back, cat-friendly dog that does not chase cats. Swanson will cuddle when he is not interested in running around, and he will let people hold him for a bit. He would much rather be allowed to chase and pounce on toys to his heart's content, and then cuddle with people when he's ready for good nap. He is ready to be adopted into a new home where he will have room to play and a lot of love. An approved adoption application is required to adopt a pet from our shelter.
