Domestic Short Hair - Gray - Cassie - Medium - Senior - Female
Cassie is our beautiful Blue/Grey short haired female cat that was surrendered by her owner on 9/28/12. Her owner was forced to move and had no where else to bring the cat so we agreed to take her into our shelter. Cassie is 8-9 years old, and is a very quiet and independent type cat. She was nervous when she first arrived, and her owner told us that she would need time to adjust to a new environment. She has always been a little shy, but she has warmed up to the shelter staff and volunteers. Cassie would be happiest as an only pet, in a quiet home with adult or senior age people to take care of her and love her. Cassie is still a playful cat, and likes to chase and pounce on her toys, and has also been known to chase around bugs. But being a mature age cat, she spends most of her time finding a good place to curl up for a nap after eating a good meal. Once she comes out of her shell, she is an affectionate and sweet cat. Cassie has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to be adopted. She is one of our Seniors for Seniors cats, which mean she is free to adopt to a senior citizen who chooses to adopt a pet over the age of 7 years.
