Jafar was found with Alice living outdoors in Lake Clear, NY. The 2 cats had shown up at a woman's property, and she noticed that Alice looked to be pregnant. She was able to catch both cats and brought them to our shelter on 3/29/13. We believe Jafar is ~2 years old, and is a handsome Brown Tabby cat. Jafar was very nervous when he first arrived, and it may have been a long time since he had been inside. He may have been someone's cat and went wandering away and became lost. He is a quiet cat, and would prefer a quiet home. He is very sweet and has never tried to swat or hiss at us when he was scared. He loves catnip toys, cuddly cat beds, being pet and brushed, and treats too. Since Jafar was found with Alice, it would be nice to place them into a home together if possible. He has adjusted to the shelter environment, but it may take him a little time to get used to a new home. We do not believe he has ever been around dogs or young chldren, and they be a bit much for him at first. He may be able to adjust to a mellow dog and older children easier. Jafar has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for Leukemia & FIV. He is ready to be adopted, and so is his friend Alice.
