Roger was surrrendered to our shelter with his son & best friend Little Jack on 9/14/12. Their owner was moving and could not take them with her to her new home. Roger is 5 years old, and is an American Chinchilla/Lop eared Mix, with agouti coloring. He has already been neutered. He is friendly, and can be handled and held. His previous home had children around regularly, and he was well behaved when being pet and held by them. Roger & Little Jack are a bonded pair, and we would love for them to go home together if possible. They were used to being loose indoors in a large play pen area, and used a litterbox filled with paper or straw in the area. There were cats in the home as well, and Roger got along great with them. He would be happy in a home that will give him attention, and time to hop around the house. We require that anyone interested in adopting one of our rabbits have at least some basic experience with rabbits and rabbit care. If you are interested in Roger, please consider adopting his buddy Little Jack too. An approved adoption application is required to adopt a animal from our shelter.
